So i have a 99 srx looking to do the twin headlight conversion on it. My question is, is the stock 99 stator strong enough to run the double light or do I need to change to the 200 watt one from the 2000 to 2002 srx's. Not sure if this is a do-able mod or not so I figured I ask on here before I go buy the parts i think I need only to have to buy more. Thanks for the input.

Search "dual bulb" a bunch of threads with different links to different head light bulb.
This is what I thought to be the most informative...

Gives both options (expensive/poor man route) Others have had luck just upgrading to HID.
To answer your main question YES, stator will keep up with 2 bulbs SO LONG as the are both 35watt or less. Go with a higher watt....kills stator!

Thanxs alot for the link, it's greatly appreciated. I think I'm going to look into some HID's to cause I think they draw less power then a normal light bulb does
