I asked a good guy about clutching options and was told to run a red primary spring with heel clickers and Yamaha weights(which ones I don't know) and a silver secondary spring with a 47/42 helix. But was also told the stock helix is fine. I'm lookin to get all I can out of her, I just recently studded my new 1" carve and looking for a top end gear. Opinions my fellow members? 01 srx

Do a search, LOTS of clutch setups. Good luck choosing one. I always liked heel clickers with red spring in primary and a 51/43 helix and a green spring at about 70 degrees, That's what im running. And you cant run heel clickers and Yamaha weights at the same time, have to chose one or the other.

If you've still got the original weights the setup I'm using is pretty killer,I got it from Don and,for me at least,it WORKS.
8DN 20's with 5.5 grams in all holes
w-w-w primary spring
54/46 helix ( I'm using Dalton )
green secondary spring wrapped at 70°.

If I remember right my gearing is stock lower with a 21 upper.

This setup is in my 01 but I'm running clickers in my 98.They work nice too and as far as comparing them back to back it's a little hard where both sleds are kind of setup in separate directions. The 01 was a former drag sled where my 98 has been long traveled and has reverse.
