I just bought an M-10 from a 2003 Polaris Edge X. I was going to put it in my my sled but my viper has slightly more travel than my wifes Srx and she broke her back cheer leading years ago and gets the occasional back pain, so i thought I'd throw it in her sled. I had a couple questions about the install. I know fast sells a universal mounting kit, are these needed or recommended? Have any of you installed without the kit? Any tips of tricks installing it with or without the kit?

Thanks guys

I have an M-10 in my Viper S, I would recommend getting the fast kit, it comes with spacer plates, template for drilling tunnel holes and approximate settings for for your weight.

Figured as much. Pulled the skid apart today, sending the arms and springs out to be powdercoated. The springs and arms are yellow, that won't do in a blue Srx. The rear shock I think needs a rebuild, I can push it in by hand easily and it doesn't go back up. I'm assuming its dead? Any suggestions on a rebuild place in Ontario?

I am just outside toronto, Peak Velocity is nearest for me, and do all makes of rebuildables, (or at least last time I was there they did) at a decent price.
