which cyclinder is 1

I have a 97 sx700. Just started to get it ready for winter. I see I have different main jets a 145 and 2- 143.8. I know cylinder 1 gets the 145 but I am not sure which cylinder is 1. Is it the clutch side or the pull rope side??
