Finding "The Trailer"

I have been looking at trailers and think I want to go with an R&R (I feel like I am playing pin the tail on the donkey) but my 2 biggest questions/concerns are 7 or 7.5 ft. Wide also 6' or 6.5' ceiling height. I want to have a half of a chance of getting 5 sleds in so I am going with a 24' deck +5' vee and I am really tired of hitting my head walking out of my current small enclosed trailer that is my motivation to go taller not sure how much it will effect the aerodynamics, also the manufacture is insisting that a trailer this long needs 3 axles. Please I am open to any and all feed back I hope to have a long turn relationship with the trailer getting sick of buying stuff that isn't perfect as it could be.
 
To my Knowledge a 7 -7.5' trailer will only fit 4 sleds staggered, I have a 101" wide Haulmark v-nosed trailer that fits 4 regular tracked sleds comfortably, I guess if I had to try to jam a 5th sled in there I could figure out a way... The box portion of my trailer is 20' and the nose is about 4'. I can only speak from experience of what I own. Good Luck in your search!
 
good luck. my new trailer is 8.5' wide x 20'+5' v nose. it has 2 5200lb axles instead of 3500lb. maybe they want you to up the axle size as most sled enclosed trailers run 3500lb. I could probably get 6 sleds in mine with some creative packing but I know it will fit 4 136" track sleds easily. I would recommend drop axles to keep it as low to the ground as possible so the wind does not hit it as much.
 
Well I ordered a trailer. I have mixed feelings on it, I think its the money more then anything but I got some options on it that will hopefully make it a good year around trailer the deck is 8'x24' so for snowmobiles it should be plenty big. I went with an R & R All sport with I hope all the extras I might need in the years to come.
 
We fit 5 mtn sleds in a 20' with 5' V-nose. (I think that's the length) Has 2 3500lb axles on it. I'm 6' tall and can stand up in it just fine. The top of the V slopes down some to help with aerodynamics. I forget the brand off hand though.

We usually drive one sled up the middle into the V then back 1 in on each side so they are all tunnel to tunnel. Then we drive the back 2 straight in.

Everyone that's pulled it says it pulls really nice. You can tell it's back there but it's been on many trips from Central ND to Island Park, West Yellowstone, Big Sky, Bozeman, Bear Lodge.
 
We have a 27' Rance Renegade. 102" wide tandom 3,500 lb axles. Brakes on both axles as well. The overall box is 24' with a 3' V. The side door is very nice and the front and rear doors are easy to operate. The roof as two vents as well as a vent on each side. I installed Max Air vent covers. This allows us to leave the roof top vent open. Very impressed with the trailer as well as the company. Al
