Ok so today Ive decided to remove my carbs in order to replace my brake cable along with cleaning my carbs for the first time. I almost got them out and the ? I have is how do you unhook the tors switch? I used to have this printout of carb cleaning from start to finish but maybe it got deleted. So if someone could give me some info on how to remove this that'd be great.

ok so you don't actually unhook the tors button where it connects to the carb rack, how do the 2bullet connectors disconnect? sorry first time doing this and I don't wana wreck anything if I can help it lol

they just pull apart. the TPS also has to be disconnected from the harness. the plug for that will be back near your coolant bottle on the harness. That one I believe has a catch you have to push in while disconnecting the plug. another tip get 2 drill bits or golf tees etc to plug the carb heater lines. close the valve on the coolant rail. disconnect the stator side hose first and plug. then disconnect the clutch side and plug (the valves often leak by). when putting them back on reverse the order.

Great thanks staggs I actually understand how to do this now. I'm gonna go finish that up tomorrow and hope it all goes well. Thanks for the knowledge.
;)!
