tach for 250 Enticer?? Help

Putting a 250 Enticer oval sled, I read that exciter or polaris tachs wont work on a single cylinder motor. Is there any "used" tachs that would work? If I have to buy new is there any inexpensive tachs that work decent? I hate to spend more on a tach then the sled is worth. Thanks for any insights. Dave

all you need is a 2 pulse Polaris or cat tach like indy trail or indy 500 cat 530 eltigre fan cougars ...........hook the brown to a good cahssis ground or motor and hook the yellow up to you lighting coil which is also yellow coming out of the stator

Polaris 2 pulse tachs can be found at most swap meets for $10 or less, just look on the back of tach and it will say "2P" or "2 Pulse"

I wire my yellow from the tach into the yellow in the wiring harness that goes to the head light....the brown goes to a good clean ground on the chassis.

knowing the bravo ignition that too would be a 2 pulse lighting so yes it will work too
