Hey guys looking for a little help setting up clutches. Its on a 2000 vmax 700.
My current mods are:
Reed valve cage mod
Bender racing high comp head gaskets.
Camoplast 1.5 in challenger
A gear set up of 19/40.
I will be running mainly in 1500ft above sea level range. I was using a yellow green yellow primary with a green secondary for springs on stock weights. I was having an over rev situation I would hit nearly 9000rpm, then drop to about 8200 with a 23 tooth top gear. Thanks for your time. Thanks.

Should also say I was having the initial over rev before the thinner head gasket set too. Should I be looking into a spring with more preload and more compressed total force for my primary? Different weights?

What weights do you have and any helixs? Over rev can be fixed buy spring with less force on finish or more weight added to them.

Whatever stock weights are on that sled is what is on there lol. I know more weight will bring down then revs. But with the primary spring I want less compressed weight? Ex.
120kg@33mm will rev less than
135kg@ 33mm? With the same weights that is?

Personally if I was you still being stock weights (8ch) I would ditch them and put in (8df) with 51/43 helix they pull hard. Need a y-g-y spring and possibility you may need a tall clutch cover. This is a great combo.
