Trying to follow the how to in the tech section but I might be a bit sleepy..lol
So I need one 108mm and two 28mm spacers plus the two factory ones for the outside?
Thanks

The way I do it is as follows. Your outside spacer will be same so cut that exact from long spacer. Then measure your bearing and cut that out of what's left. Will be exact every time

By outside spacer I mean spacer on outside of inner boggie next to rail if that makes sence ?
Makes sence thanks
Can someone tell me the length of the two factory outside spacers and the short one?
I have extra spacers everywhere and don't know which ones I took off...damn it

http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/4th_wheel_kit.htm. I don't have anything to measure here. Maybe this will help?

no metric tape, but the outers are 1 1/16", inside the rails 1 5/8" and the big one in the center is 4 3/8". all +/- 1/32"
Awesome thanks everyone!!!
Still having trouble with this
Where those measurements for stock spacers?

If anyone takes their 4 wheel kit apart for winter prep can you measure all your spacers for me
Thanks

Kevin I'm not sure what your having trouble with? Is it you just have the spacers all messed up? Let me know and I'll see what I can do for ya tomorrow. I have one sled at home and I'll see if i can take it apart for ya. Will let ya know tomorrow evening. The thin is everyone's may be a hair different depgending on how it was cut ect.... there is a little wiggle room.
The problem is that I had extra spacer that I though would work but didn't
So now they are mixed up
I put it together but there wasn't enough space for the last wheel to fit completely on the shaft so I must have the outside spacers mixed up
I do have a long one at 108mm just need to know about the other two

Every one of my sleds are like that. About a 1/8th to a 1/4 short of fitting flush with the axle. This is normal and correct. Sounds like you have it right to me? I wondered about same thing but was assured it was ok . Your boggies all align up right.

stock 4 wheel. the earlier measures i gave you include the two outers, the two smaller inners and the center.Still having trouble with this

i just read the tech tip and it made perfect sense to me by simply duplicating the dimensions to your longer shaft and making two cuts. you already have the two outers and one shorter inner, what you are making is another shorter inner and the center. dont be alarmed about an extra millimeter or two, its no deal breaker.
i have both a 3 wheel and 4 wheel axle sitting in front of me. using a metric tri-square ruler heres what i have for measures from both and they are both factory unmolested axles:
3 wheel: outers=39mm inners=26mm center=148mm
4 wheel: outers=40mm inners=28mm center=111mm
not caliper precision measures by any means but close enough i think.
off the top of my head starting outside the rails you have wheel/outer spacer/washer/rail/adjuster/washer/inner spacer/wheel/center spacer/wheel/innerspacer/washer/adjuster/rail/washer/outer spacer/wheel.
hope that sheds some light on the ordeal.
Thanks again!!
I guess I had it right the last time
I just didn't like that there was only 1/4" for the last wheel bearing to ride on

Kevin that seems fine, when you tighten the axle nut to spec it will actually squeeze everything together tighter and that 1/4" will turn out to be around 3/8" for the bearing to ride on..been there done that also...never had issues yet.
The big retro rear wheels look cool

pics please
we need some here Kevin

I will upload some pics hopefully tomorrow night
The wheels are the same ones you have
I put the rear axle in after I put the skid back in...that wasn't fun
I went back to stock drivers (from 8s) the track is almost at perfect tension with even adjusting it...lol
