I had to smile the other day when I was at my cousins place in his garage where my 98 is stored and he had a guy over to work on his Audi he bought for winter driving to work. The guy was quite startled to find out my sled was 14 years old lol but as I told him it isn't all that hard to keep a sled looking fairly new.If the bolts look rusty or are scaled up change them,if painted parts get chipped and scratched paint them. That's pretty much my yearly routine and has been for a long time now, look everything over around Sept or so and make a list of what needs to be done.As it is now I've got the trailing arms off my 98 and sand blasted both of them, painted one last night but have a little fixing to do to the other then comes the radius rods.To be honest I don't know why someone would let a sled get run down and cruddy looking, they're too expensive to replace every few years so a little TLC goes a long way.

Not to some people I know it wrong but some people just throw them behind a barn it makes me sick. I do the same to to my sled as you do

Mine stay inside until there is snow on the ground for the remainder of winter. Then and ONLY then do they sit outside. I dont want them out in rain or warm weather. If I had room to keep them in the garage all the time I would but one of my trucks hibernates in there all winter.
