I rode it once last year at the ice drags. It would hit 100 mph in the 660'. The guy I bought it from says it was built by Hauck Racing and it is 22 of 22 built. He also claims it was Pat Hauck's personal sled. I know nothing about this thing, other than after I rode it and I knew I wanted it. My plan is to snow drag it 500' with a different track setup and also ice drag it with the double stitched ice track it comes with. This thing looks pretty stock appearing and has triple pipes that are quiet, but spins 9200 RPM. What are the best things I can do to put this thing in full race form? It runs on pump gas now! Any information about this sleds specs would be very helpful.

Thanks for your help guys
Newbie to Yamaha as of today.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like a good runner, 100mph in 660 is really good but 500 inch snow drags sounds pretty short, you won't get anywhere near those speeds....lol sorry, couldn't resist. post some pics of the pipes. Hauck had different companies make their pipes. 9200 is about where the CPR's ran but the Aaens might have been the same. I would only guess there's some engine work as well. you're going to have to decipher what you have. with pipes you're automatically looking at improved stock.

But it's a pat hauck viper, man... He is the real yammie god .... I bet it flys.. It'll probably run w improvers..
