ok, so i'm getting a 835 big bore for my srx and i know its gonna add some strains and will need to better some things. i have already ATACC with k&n's and TMX 38 carbs for the air system ( working on a custom ram air type thing to get the air to the filters), the cooling i have is the stock tunnel running board coolers and rear cooler and i know i will need more cooling so will a u-cooler work better than what i got? clutching, i have a hyperlite on the way (woohoo!!!) and for now i'm sticking with the stock clutch but of course i'll have to play with that, but thats later... and hopefully my aaen triple pipes will be in soon. now, did i miss anything, or am i doin anything thats a big mistake? i wanna do this right and not waste the money away on a burn down. thoght of getting the dial-a-jets just so that i'll be on the rich side to prevent burn downs. any thoughts on adding, changing, or getting rid of anything? i'm open for any suggestions because again i am a beginner here!!! thank you a ton!!! (gosh i love this site

oh ya, btw, i don't have pics because hood is also gettin the custom touch and none of its put together, so ya. i'll be sure to brag about it when its done so you should see it soon. thanks again!

I would think again about getting the Aaen pipes. They do shed around 15-20 lbs off of the SRX, but they also loose about 10 hp as well. Just my .02

so you think i should get them or shouldn't? i want to get them because of the 25lb loss and hopefully it will let it breathe a little better than the stock. anyone else? thanks a ton!!!!

Whose big bore is it? I have a Bender 835 and used their big bore pipes with no problems. The sled also has their tunnel coolers. I've been told that the 835's will run the cylinders hotter because of port timing and jetting will not take care of it. It may burn down on you if you get it on a lake without additional cooling. Don't shoot the messenger. Ask the guy who did the work.
