Just wandering what length the 01 600 MM was running.I found the clutch set up in the Tech section ,will it be good for my 144 SXR600 now.It still used 8DG's with less weight .Since I have not really had a chance to test my 600 long track to see what the rpm's will be at,is it safe to say that I will be under reving with my stock 8DG's ??Have 4.5 tip and 3.6 inner and was good with the 121 track. For a 2001 600mm it use's 8DG's with 2.44 rivets in each hole.I also have 8CR's here to play with..anyone ever run or run a triple 600 long track sled..

oh yeah, the 600 mm would run a 43 helix and 15.6 rollers with y-w-y spring and red at 80 wrap.I could try and use my 51/43 helix and see what happens I guess.

2001 Mountain Max 600's came with a 141" track Doug. If it helps at all, when I longtracked the srx and started boondocking with it more I found I had to lighten up the rivets in the weights, run a shallower start helix and run a tighter wrap spring in the deeper snow. Setting up the sled for hardpack compared to field running in 1-2 feet of snow are total night and day differences and there isn't too much info out there for boondocking set ups, you'll just have to go by trial and error and see what works best for your conditions. But that was kind of the fun part of it for me. Good luck!

Yep, they better not make as many mistakes next week as they did tonight... or they aren't going to make it. Calgary won't let them get away with it!
