SRX vs. SX ARE THE BOTTOMEND THE SAME?

I was wondering if a 98 srx 700 is same as a 98 sx700
obviously the topend is different but what exactly is different in the bottomend??

pretty sure everything is different. crank is different stroke, cases are different
