Hey guys,
Bought this sled a while back and was curious what's up with these transfer rods, looks like they are suppose to be for easy adjustment, can someone educate me if that is correct and what the main point is.
On a second note and guess what skid they may have had in this sled at one point, there are 2 hole on each side that are a couple inches forward of the stock holes I am guessing a Polaris Skid but not post.

Those are adjustable transfer rods. I'm looking into getting a pair for myself...

What's the main reason, I never have adjusted the transfer rods just curious why you would want to tweak them on the trail.

The nice thing about them is that they are versatile for different riding applications and being able to adjust them on the fly if you want. I'm getting my set tomorrow...can't wait to try em out. Just easier to adjust for a riders weight. Stock rods I believe you have to take apart to add or remove washers to get the right gap. Just nice to tweak em if ya need too!

Is it just for transfer or does it help on cornering and such, never messed with them on the XT.
I was very pleasantly surprised the skid was in good shape, probably doesn't have that many miles as there was another skid in there at some point, all shafts are tight, W-arm looks good no cracks even the axle slid forward with 0 effort .
