Hi Guys,

I am looking to get a Boss seat on my SRX, I was thinking about getting their LED brake light for ease of installation, but I am concerned with the brightness of their LED tail light. I am usually the lead in our group and I really need to have a brake light people can see. What have some of you guys done to update the brake light? I would love to see some pics if you have any. thanks!

The one that comes with the seat is pretty bright. Rode with a guy that used the boss tail light and it seemed bright enough to me. I used the nytro tail lights on mine but i longtracked also so there is plenty of room. Search for alswag, he did a viper light mod to his boss with that back pouch. It looks really good.

I'm putting a 2009 style Nytro tail light on my Viper with a Boss seat. It's tight back there but I think it'll work. The light will hang over the snowflap maybe 1".

I am having trouble with searching for his posts showing the viper light...if you come across it please post it up. I was thinking about long tracking to a 144", do you know if a 144 will fit in a 10ft trailer?

I was thinking about doing the same thing, please post pics when you get it done.

on a side note, the nytro tail light looks like an older (05ish) R6 sportbike tail light, does anyone know if that is true? if it is I have one of those laying around already.

I figured I better update my thread...I decided to go with a Nytro light. I wanted to keep it looking somewhat stock so I tucked the light under the back of the seat. I had to drill out the rivets and loosen the rear heat exchanger/flap mounting bracket. I took the special bolts that were holding my stock seat on and used them to hold the Nytro light in place. I needed the tail light to be removable so I can bleed the cooling system. The last thing I did was put some velcro on the tail light housing so my Boss seat would stick to it a little. I rode all weekend in the U.P. and didn't have any problems. here are a few pics. Don't mind the rear bumper, the dog chewed on it a little. :o|

A 144 will fit in a 10ft trailer not problem. A few weeks ago my dad and I were going to trailer the sleds and I had to make sure my sled fit. I got the oh sh*t I forgot I long tracked it, I hope it fits. It does!! Just have to pull the sled up in the trailer a bit more.
