Cleaned carbs on wifes 2002sx600r today. adjusted everything to manual and sounds like sled loads up. its been doing this since new. hit the throttle clears up after u let go it starts loading up. any one have this problem. checked floats and there good, fresh gas , jetting is stock , reeds are good any ideas would be great

what are the fuel screws set at????? Is your choke sticking,check and see if choke opens and closes all the way.
Choke is fine fuel screws 2turns

Are your needles seating properly? The stock jetting is pretty rich from the factory, you might need to adjust the fuel screws. There are some jetting specs from Turk in the tech pages.

if you tune while it is 40* out when it gets cold(er) you may have an idle hang or it may be hard to start. Just a thought to think about. You MAY be able to step down one jet for the pilot and this may help, you may also want to try to adjust the fuel screw in a 1/4 turn to see if this helps. I don't know if reed spacers will help out on the 600 triple.
My 700 had a similar characteristic until I went to a high compression head, then the sound of it wanting to stall now has a crisp pop snap crackle at idle(sounds healthy).
