I have a chance to buy a complete set up for the Viper. Pipes, clutch kit, gasket kit,jet kit.For cheap money. My question is other than the pipes what is needed for this set up?In reading many different articles they say rear heat exchanger?I thought there was one already there? Also insulating the pipes? Obviously the triple pipes thing is all new too me. THANK YOU!

The previous owner of my Viper had installed Bender triple pipes on mine. He installed a Bender head which has equal compression across all 3 cylinders and better cooling in the head. He added the rear heat exchanger and a Bender adjustable torque arm. Everything seemed to work good together and I didn't have any overheating problems with it.

Pipes, clutch parts, and jets. Rear heat exchanger possibly. My Viper Mtn that I had Speedwerx on came standard with the rear heat exchanger. I DID NOT insulate the pipes. You will need to make a hood shim between where the hood mounts to the frame (2 bolts), or the pipes will hit. Speedwerx recommends 1/4" shim I believe. Those pipes like 9000 rpms. I ran a w-w-w primary spring with fully loaded 8DN-10s.

The ones of uncle Henrys I have been eyeing them figured they sell sooner than they have. Looked like a good deal had some clutch stuff to go with them to right?
