I need a little help. I'm in the middle of a 144 extension on my Viper and I've run into a problem with the hose covers. I've trimmed away the plastic like the directions say and it the covers still won't fit quite right. To use the holes that came on the tunnel extension and the hose covers, I need to push down very hard to get the bolts in. Has anyone had this problem? Did you drill new holes in the tunnel extension?
It's a MPI tunnel extension
Thanks

Have done a few MPI extensions. On most of them I used the original hole in the front and put a new hole in the rear for the hose covers. The goal was to get the hose cover to sit parallel with the edge of the tunnel extension. BTW if using a U-cooler or the stock crossover tube, if you take your time they can be tweaked to allow the hose cover to sit better.

I had to trim some of the ridges on the bottom (or backside) to clear
