I just bought an '02 Viper that is in pristine condition. The one thing I'm noticing, and somewhat surprise, that it seems to ...'settle down' and sit quite low - even without my 225lb carcass on it. I'm about to go through making sure the ProAction suspension is setup properly.
I have a preference to have the sled to ride up high. I'm tall - 6'3" and don't like my knees up around my eyeballs. Has anyone ever done anything, (short of popping in an $1,000 M-10 suspension), to the stock Viper suspension to increase ride height?
Thanks all. C'mon Winter!!!

If the control rod has all the gap on top thats pretty much as high as it'll go. When you sit on the machine the gap should be equal on both sides (top and bottom). You can increase the spring preload if you like it sitting a little higher and being a little stiffer ride. Aside from that not much you can do to make the sled sit higher, other than getting a new skid. Some guys are switching seats and adding seat risers to bring them up a little higher.

also, no matter how high you make the suspension sit, your knee position isn't going to change any. You should certainly check out the suspension like you plan but it sounds like you may need a boss seat.
