Well saved another sled from being boned out. 1997 sx 700 6500 miles pieced it back together. Its noting special gasket mod reed spacers witch I made has power inc end dumps gonna get her clutched up now just made it run tonight untill I run out of gas. Gonna make a hot trail sled or put my other ice track on it and play. I know I have no pics.

Guessing the bad track lead to the bad x changer.......Definately got your moneys worth. I have seen a few 97 sx 700 posted for sale....asking 2K+......Not that I think they have a snowballs chance getting asking price
Ya but both the motors did not run at the time like I said take two to make one. One motor is mostly all junk do to being full of water

I found a mint garage kept older person owned 2002 vMax 700 with 5300 miles on it on craigslist in western mass. This thing was MINT and he wanted $1700, I bet 1500 cash would have taken it. I want a trail sled too seeing as I'm moving to snowmobile country soon, but my wife would KILL me because that's what my monthly contribution to our house down payment account is.

Nice, I used to enjoy saving old yammers, now not so much time or place to do it. My wife used to pick on me cause I always looked in peoples back yards and fields for old sleds. I bought a few and had fun doing it!
