So here it is.. I have a 99 Venture 600 well was a 600 but now have a 700 red head in her.Started changing front end and other parts. Ended up putting a Viper stock clutch in it and what a difference now I have put Viper skis on it (updating the steel skis) and have put a set of Viper KYB shocks on it. The shocks were a little shorter but seem to fit and work good on it. All in all between the shocks and skis the sled has dropped about 1 3/4 in hieght on the front end. I am considering putting Viper trailing arms on it to bring the height back up as they are a taller arm on the ski spindle. Was wondering if anyone has done this to a Venture before? I am going to take it for a run next weekend to give her a try as is but I am a little leary about the front end drop. Sould I compensate the rear suspension to accomodate the front? I have a Viper and have been doing some comparisons to the 2 to see the differences..

update on the ski and shock swap. I picked up a set of new 6 inch carbides and put on. Took the sled for a little rip to see if there would be any ski pressure difference and the sled seemed to handle fine. Actually better than before. I havent been able to put her down a groomed trail yet as they are not groomed here yet but all in all seems to work well. The change over from steel skis to plastic has made a big difference. Once trails are groomed the real corner test will show. Will update when trails are done. Need 1 1/4 136 track for her now then transformation will be good..
