I have a 03 Viper with a rumble pack silencer, heel x roller secondary with a 42* helix. After installing the new seconday I was hitting around 107mph on a long icy road reving at 8500 rpms. Then I put in the heel clicker clutch weights in the primary as Randy from super toquer told me 1.2 in shoulder, center empty and 6.3 in the tip. It engades at 5000 rpms now and i hit 114mph on the same road with the rpms not exceeding 8100rpms. Is this a bad thing under reving? Am I losing power? And how can I correct this? It's tough becuase it seems that I'm getting more top end just hard to now if I'm losing the mid range. I ran it upagainst my brother 01 SRX 700 and we were close to about 70 then he creeped ahead, did have enough room for both of us to run top speed though. thanks

Detroit!! I have a question like yours but on the other end... i'm over reving. Mine is bone stock though. Reving up to about 8800 and some friends (doktor C on the forum) are telling me that i could be losing 2 - 3 hp. They are much more knowledgeable than i am with clutching (i have no clue), but i am seeing similar results as you. Friend has a stock SRX and we run pretty close on bottom (provided traction is similar) and are close up to around 70 - 80 mph then the srx has a bit longer legs and starts to pull away. We were running on radar and the viper hit 114 vs the srx at 120. This was done on a fairly clean ice surface with a long run. Same speed as you!! Was yours radar/GPS? weird to see how a few hundred rpms can make a difference. Think i should be worried about reving 8800? Makes me a little nervous holding wot and reving higher than i should be.

Add mass to primary to lower rpm,s. Remove mass to gain rpm,s. Pivot hole controls initial & low speed rpm,s. Tip controls hi speed rpm,s. They do overlap & there are some exceptioms but this will get you close.

Do you think that I should lower the tip to maybe 5.3 and add a gram to the center? Also what about the heel-x roller I have, I think it's a 70* with that 42 helix and stock black/red secondary spring with the gray primary. Thanks alot TURK

give it a try with the stock silencer on it. kirkswim had an under rev like you with hh and when he put stock can on he was clutched right on where turk said he should be.
