What's everybody's thought in my odds beating a zr 800 and zr 900 in a 1000 ft race. The zr's are both stock with studs. The viper will have a mrviper 780 with venom heads. Bender pipes. Hc clutching. 144 studs. Boysen rad valves. And mach z 38mm carbs. I know they are big motors and fast sleds But 2 guys at work on the 800/900. Keep talking smack about my yammy 700.

My buddy has a zr 800, stock with studs and some clutching. My viper with speedwerx pipes, hc clutching, 144 studs destroys him. 1/8 mile ill get him by 2-3 lengths, but after that its not even fair. From a roll I can give him the jump, and catch and pass him within seconds. I dont think the 900s are much better

Only trail sled that should be beating your 780 is a turbo/super/nitrous apex or nytro. Or an arctic cat turbo with a tune maybe.

My old 835 viper would walk any of those twins! The 780 should be just as potent. If your set up properly it will be no contest.

Should have no problem beating both. I'm running a stock viper motor with bender triples. I raced my neighbors 900 zr. He is 300lbs+ and beat him 5 times racing. He also had a 16 year old that was around 150lbs and i beat him 5 times also. I was around 270lbs back then. The key is having the rpms up and getting a good hole shot. Should win every time!!

Well this all depends on your set up, I have owned a mr.viper 700 srx and u should have NO problems. But if it's not tuned ur gonna get beat, if don has set it up u won't make any friends no matter what u race

Yes don has my cylinders right now I can't wait to get them back. Have herd nothing but good things about the work he does.
