Any of you yamaguru's ever thought of starting how to videos? There is so much knowledge on this site but some of us are visual learners Just curious. I'm sure everyone is like me with tons of extra time on there hands. :o|

This is a great idea and something I thought of last year as well. I wanted to do this on a few differnt items:

1.) carb clean 101, would be easy to explain what to do for newbies and people who think its hard to do so they pay a dealer tons of money to do it.

2.) how to check and adjust your belt deflection.

3.) how to install and set up a clutch kit

4.) proper track tension and things to look for every new year upon inspection, chaincase oil change and tension check on chain, steering alignment, shimming ski saddles for darting issues.

5.) reading spark plugs and piston wash on your snowmobile to optimize your carb jetting.

The problem I have is, I am NOT a computer guru, I dont know how to load the videos on internet and then post here to view.........

I love the idea too, and would guess MrSled will too. You shoot the video Don and Im sure we can get you the help you need to post them.;)!

I'm glad you think so. I definitely agree. I'm sure it isn't very hard. Even if it was just uploaded to YouTube you could always just post the link. Get someone handy with editing and you could really have something.

mrviper700 go for it I am sure someone on here can help get it uploaded and I would love to see this happen this would be great to see it would be better than a lot of crap on y tub

Wish I would've saw this thread a week ago. I could've done carb cleaning videos for a 97 SX and a 05 Viper.

So, how do we get the ball rolling? If there are any smart people around me I'd be happy to film or help however I can. Heck. I'll even let you work on my sleds. The least I can do. ;)!;)!

If some one has a gopro with a head strap it would work great. Now I have both but can't help out too much on the mechanical side. :(
