Hello - I am looking for a replacement drive wheel for a 74 GP 433 and the parts book calls for a 810-47532-00-00. Question, would anybody know what the difference is on a 810-47531-00-00, can it be used on a 74 model?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Kevin Campbell

this might link to a Yamaha fiche.... shows both the same from 1970 to 1977, anything with a single drive...
That being said , the fronts drives get worn sharp and polished where most rears are chipped , chunked , and blunt
and will have trouble driving against rusty clips... The black/ green ones tend to shatter, the older "yellow" ones tend to
just be worn until they wear too thin and break.... I am always amazed at the diff in wear

somewhere someone was machining them from Almn... forget where I saw it

There's a guy in Ontario Canada reproducing them. Ryan at 705-742-6120. Pricy at 125.00 each. I have a set of NOS 810-47532's that I'd sell for 150.00/pair plus shipping
Email me at elwell9801@acninc.net if you need them.

Thanks for that phone number Mark ... I will find a better place to remember it for the future...
Kevinc... i'm more amazed that you still have a decent track to use .. for any others watching post ,, Yam used
a single drive track with steel clips glued in for the double sliders,,, no holes for snow to get in.. My roig TL433F
wore the clips out of track and I cut new holes and reclipped it and then later the 7 bars in a row broke in the centre
and that was the end... Stuffed in susp from a gpx and double drive track and welded to drivers on front axle.
.. I have since acquired a really nice , orig looking 74 TL . BUT when you pull it backwards off a trailer it picks the clips off
the track... after noticing that, I am now more careful .
...The other 74's I have found have round holes in every other clip hole to let snow in.

Ron - any advice on swapping the suspension? I have an exciter suspension (late 70's, early 80's) that I am thinking of putting in my 73 GP338 (or 74 SL338 - haven't decided), and since it seems that you have done this, is it a difficult swap?

I now have lots of axles from 75 76 and 77 TL . GP/PR 's and would need to just plug in the axle from one of them and
a suspension and matching track. Problem of Almn tunnel sleds is there was enough room to remove chain case cover and un bolt the axle..so you would need to weld
on any flange that would work ... The RH bearing support is same but chain case shows diff seal and bearing.... BUT may have same spline as your insert spline
in the case ,,, so you could potentially just need to alter the length of the EX shaft... always measure orig tunnel for the susp bolt pattern so it pivots properly .
75 and 76 used window drive and 77 GP/PR had involute and a smoother ride and a little more travel ... my 77 rides almost comfortable. Although the seat as also
a little thicker..
