1989 XL 540cc f/c in 1980 XL

Hi, i have a 1980 xl that came with no engine. So i bought a 1989 xl with a working engine to transfer the engine in the 1980 xl. But the mounts seems to be different. if someone could confirm that the mounts from a 1989 xl wont fit in a 1980 xl please???

And would the 1980 xl 540cc mount fit the 1989 engine? From pictures ive seen, yes but i would just like a confirmation before buying a set of engine mounts.

Also, if the mounts of a 1980 are the solution, in what range of year can i take the mounts? 1979 to 1982???

i just notice something while searching around, xl and excell are not the same. So sorry for the mistake, both of my sleds are excell
