Found on another sled site, posted today.
We need your help finding a snowmobiler that has been missing for a week now. His name is Mike Flechum and he is from the Indian River MI. area. He left and told his family he was going to stop where the snow was good enough to ride at. Well he never called home and no one has heard from him. He is driving a two tone blue 1990 GMC Pick-up. He has a 2000 FX-1 700 Orange and Black. They are posting flyers from the Mackinaw Bridge to Copper Harbor. Mike loves to ride powder. If you go off the main trail, please look around.

is that the sled he is riding? an fx-1 700? i will let me b/f know. drives all over the eastern up, from st. ignace to grand marais. i will give the description of the truck and sled. he also rides all over up here to off and on the trails. god i hope he is ok

i just got home from work and my girlfriend told me the news, someone let me know and i can do a lil checkin if he is still out there, i have some friends riding to grand marais and some headin to paradise tonite. ialso will be goin threw curtis-germfask-seney on my route tomorrow. i will keep my eyes open for the description posted. also what kind of sled is that..............(fx-1 700)

I just got home last night and heard about this. Any Updates? Have they located his truck? I'm more than willing to join in on a search if needed (as I would hope others would do for me) but need to have a starting point.

i am almost guessing b.s on this one, no news coverage, no plea's from his family on t.v and no updates at all. sure hope he isn't missing but don't you think there would be something on t.v??????

I ride the UP all the time, and i have seen no fliers or heard anybody say anything about any missing persons.
