srx timing tab

I would like to know if the timing tab in a srx is the hole on the top of the pull cord crank...how does it work does it align with the big notch on the flywheel

I am curious also. When I recently installed my fly wheel it seemed like their could be a few degrees of adjustment available before you tighten the nut ?
Or will it self center as you tighten it ?

flywheel self centers on the shaft. only way to only way of altering the timing that i am aware of is by using an offset keyway.

i ask cause i change the system for a 2000-up ignition.... that need to relocate the the ignition trigger ...
