Is there any way to tell what spring you have if there are no markings on it?
not really but yes if u got a scale for it

you can narrow it down by measuring the wire diameter and the free length. free length can be misleading if the spring has any age.
i assume your referring to what you believe to be a stock spring? most times you can see a faint tinge of color if you wipe it down. since you posted in this section, most likely the swatch will be in the center of the coils and go left to right(tall cover). short cover springs colored from top to bottom.
i have determined secondary springs with the wire diameter and coil counts with a fairly high success rate when comparing to known springs.

I looked it over good and couldn't find any traces of markings on it.

It is a black spring. I cant remember what the engagement RPM was, didnt seem very high, I'll have to check on that.

just fyi hauck makes a black primary spring

the 150/300 heavy hitter spring is also all black, but most unknown all black springs are probably sacked out old stock springs that have never been changed.

Could be the Hauck spring, the sled did come from Hauck. Anyways...I'll take er out for a rip this weekend and she how she goes. Thanks guys!
