I am switching my track to a Polaris 144 from the 141 stock track on my 2002 Mountain max. The new camoplast track weighs 50lbs. I was wondering how much weight I am shedding. I don't have a scale or I would weigh them both. I can't find the answer on Google.

yamaha never listed weights on the mtn tracks, but the last two i sold of the 141's were just under 60 lbs, packaged, so i would estimate them at around 55 lbs.
its not so much the weight on those 141's as it was the lug configuration and durometer. you could take a stock mtn viper 144 track(made by camoplast by the way) and it was a night and day difference over the yoko in my opinion. its wasnt so much the extra inches but more so the design. but then an extra estimated 5 lbs of rotating mass makes up for alot as well.
you will be more than happy with the 144 camoplast. most likely its the camo extreme in the 144, more likely than branded polaris, but a well known mountain track at any rate.

I have my old 141 rolled up outside the shop. I will weight it tomorrow.
