My chaincases are full, oil clear and slick...because they're new to me I'm uncertain as to when they were last changed. Logic tell me this is like a auto diff so full, clear and slippery is good enough?

I know my sleds are old but I don't want to fuss over every possible issue..I'm ranking this as keep an eye on it but full is good.

Full, clear and slippery is good but if the sled is new to you, drain it and pull the cover off to check everything out. Good to check the chain tension while your in there. I do it every season regardless of how the oil looks.

I'd call it fine for this season. Take the cover off next year and inspect shtuff.full, clear and slippery is good enough?
