Will this work? I just picked up two phasers with nice plastics and the ones on my exciter have seen better days. They obviously look pretty different but is the frame work the same? Will the skid off the phasers fit the exciter?

Thanks a lot for the help guys.

No, they are way more different than you think. If they are phazer II's the skid wont be a direct bolt on but you could make it work.Plenty of cheap, decent Exciter hoods around if you want to fix yours up.

That sucks. Tons of good parts I can still steal from those sleds. I'll just steal suspension parts from the phazer skid to make the exciter one one again.

If they are Phazer II's I dont see why the rear skid wouldnt be a direct bolt in. They used the exact same rear suspension, and were both 121" tracks. Now if the phazers are pre 1989 or whenever they changed then the rear skid wont swap because they were 116", but still doable with fairly minimal work.

It is not the same rear suspension in the Phazer II vs any year Exciter. Its similar and they both ran 121'' tracks, but still different.
