Last spring the spring broke in my rewind. I bought a new one and also a new rope. I replaced the spring and rope and now about a foot of rope hangs there. I checked and the new rope & old rope are the same length. What did I do wrong? Do I need to wind the spring tighter?
yeah go one to two more revolutions tighter.
