I am going home after work to install Turks clutch set up. My questions is am I correct in saying that I need to drill out of old rivets and press in the new ones. Anything I should watch or be careful with. Thanks.

you can either drill them out or grind the heads off the old ones and punch them through. Just try not to grind away any of the weight material
peen over the edges of the new ones with a hammer until there tight, no movement in the rivet at all

The steel weights really dont peen over, there as tough as nails. I just pounded them 3 or 4 times until they were tight in the weight. It is not as easy as it looks for taking them out or putting them in but it gets done with a little persistance.

the steel ones will peen if you pound them long enough and hard enough...lol

rivets
i just helped my friend change his, found out after removing the first rivet that it is alot!!!! better if you grind the head that has not been peened over. found that when they are peened over they kinda fill in the belveled edge. hope this helps ya

i squeeze my rivets in a vice, takes a little effort but never had a problem with doing it like that
I pound the crap out of them but I use a weight block
