I think people make the mistake and measure the top and then the very bottom, so your going to be off because the clutch never rides up at the top nor the very bottom. You have to measure where the button sits, starts and ends its stroke on the ramp.
Its not that your measurement is wrong, its just not accurate for what your trying to obtain because of where the button rides on the ramp and why you and many others have listed helixs with differnt angles then what they are stamped or marked.
Look at your clutch when its on the sled and youll see. Even with a belt off it wont be at the tip of the ramp, not to mention the ramps are cut on a radius so even a straight angle helix has a radius in it so its not a straight line. this is why some helix brands are more aggressive then others are its how long and what radius they use to go from angle to angle on a helix, some hold the start out and some use a deeper radius in the cut, this makes it more aggressive.
