Hey guys I have 98 vmax 700 xtc i really like the machine it has a rip saw track on it and a bender can on it what do you guys know about them ts3 transfer rods? ive never messed with anything on the suspension besided stiffening the spring so it dont bottom out are these a good thing to put on it? does it bolt right on? some one made the comment that you can pull the skis with them really easy after installing this?? any input helps thanks guys!
You have to have long travel rods on a xtc yes they do help alot in traction Have not used ts3 rods personally but they are all the same concept

Adjusting the transfer rods shorter will let more transfer happen = more ski lift. Loosening the limiter straps will help to. keep in mind if you run straps to loose the front shock will then act like a limiter strap stopping skid from dropping out any further. Being as shock not designed for this shock stem will eventually break.

They really do nothing unless your into riding wheelies. The skid is designed to work around a fixed gap at the transfer rod. The TS3 allows you to adjust the upper gap, giving you more ski lift and the feeling of more traction. They bolt right on.
If you trail ride, they are not worth the money as they do nothing. If you want better ride, rebuild your skid, add a larger center shock spring, and for even better, have the shocks revalved.
