Any one put a RX-1 or apex or phazer seat on a viper? I have a 03 RX-1 seat I was thinking about fitting on my 02 viper
I haven't done it but with a little fab work I'm sure it could be made to fit.

cant remember who but someone has done it on here, had pics also, maybe will turn up in a search. if it were me and decided to do it i would use an apex seat of some sort so i had a trunk to use

It was pretty straight forward once I got the seat pulled apart how to make it work. If you decide to go through with it let me know if you run into any problems. You could make some flaps to snap onto the tunnel sides to hold the front of the seat. I was kind of in a rush so I came up with the old school seat strap, but I like it because I can tuck things like a hat or gloves in there.
I'm going to get a skinz nytro tunnel bag and see how it tucks under the seat, I think it will fit that space pretty good.

Love the look! Wondering if I brought my viper to an upholstery shop they could do this for me. I don't have the tools and knowhow for a custom project like this. Have an opportunity to buy a cheap rx-1 seat and try to make happen vs the $45004 boss seat. Thoughts?
