Yamaha will be having 3 special sneak peak consumer shows for the new 2006 models. The consumer shows will start after 4:00 at each location. Yamaha will have a full corporate staff including dealers at each show to answer your questions on the 2006 models. The shows will be on February 7th in Minneapolis MN, Feb 10 in Ypsilanti MI, Feb 10 in Albany NY.

minneapolis would definately be the closest for us, but it isn't close by any means. That is a long way to go just to see the sleds a little early, sure is tempting though...

Will they be posting on the website on the 7th as well? If not will someone please post pics from the Minneapolis show. Can't wait. Thanks.

Yamaha 2006 info

My dealer has good contacts to Yamaha here in Finland. He has talked to them this is what he said to me when I twisted his arm ...

2-strokes :

Venture XL for Europe ( big demand for low cost rentail sleds here )

Viking , still alive....
;):D
4-strokes :

Viking, with detuned Vector engine and with trailing arm front(same like Lynx Yeti). Not A-arm.

More monoshocks to different models.

And when I asked about the rumour of an new sports models, my dealer said that he asked the same thing, and they all just laughed and said "you`ll see then " Atleast one new model, no hp or engine specs yet.

This is what I found out. There have been sightings of prototype Yamaha`s in Finnish ans Swedish Lapland ( Yamaha has known to done tests here, like Doo did with the REV ). Everyone who have seen them say that one sled was a snowcrosser. Is it someones racesled, don`t know ?

So, it is getting interesting. :WayCool:

I'm crossing my fingers for a fuel injected, monoshock, RS Vector ER for 06. Then I can buy it used in 07!
