Just talked to an old friend I used to work for in high school. He is opening up what used to be CW citgo, just north of Houlton Maine, on route 1 north, and Its 83 and Its 86 connect. Even better than before, it will be a card pump, so if your riding late, you wont have to drive clear down into Houlton for gas. This has been a staple gas station for sledders headed north and west for years and it is great to have it back. New owners are great people. Gordon and Crystal Hagerman.
If you think of it, make a point of buying gas there on your way up through or stop by with a sled. He is as local as it gets, his brother even lives across the road. Lets help keep him in business.
