Hey guys I've got a 2002 srx that is being built for radar running I got 8" big wheels in back and the bigger idler wheels out front 5.350 just wondering iff I need to run any sliders it is a speed track also

700 improved. Must run sliders! Lube systems or lube are allowed though.

take your sliders and cut them on a table saw so they are thinner and wont drag.

taking your sled and running it in 700 improved class with stock pipes is like taking a pocket knife to a gun fight!
No matter how much work you put into the engine your gonna be bound by the limit of the stock pipes, and thats right about 165hp!
MPH is indictive of your hp so the lower your hp, the lower your mph will be.
I would just stick to fun runs and leave the class racing alone till you get the rest of the parts to run that class, the big bore pipes, bored or oversize carbs,modded reed cages,etc.

At 165HP all I have to say is good luck! Your down 25Hp to your competition. Take Don's advice and wait till your ready.

I know guys I will be gettin that stuff soon but for this year I just wanna run it in maybee the first and 2nd event till I get the pipes and carbs and cdi box I no I won't beat anyone in my class but it's all a learning curve and the the fun of it
