Installed a 2" block and the shop just said that my oil cable is too short causing the oil pump to open more?

Thought 2" was safe?

I just put a powermadd 2 inch riser on my viper and no problems with any cables. You should not have to reroute or change any cables. Took me about 20mins to do and have no problems at all..

Yup told them that most guys have no issues and they didn't believe me.. Ill check to be sure to see if they're not trying to squeez an extra dollar outta me ..

I put a 2 inch on mine and on one trip it did somehow pull the cable open..I got a real bad idle hang mid trip and found that to be my problem..was good ever since tho

Mine had 2" risers and I took them off because I couldn't hardly get my snowmobile cover on with the risers. I'm not sure, but the previous owner may have changed the handlebars and that may be the real reason my cover wouldn't fit. I ended up installing a 1" riser from a on/off road bike I had and it seems to be a happy medium. My cover will fit, but its a little higher.

You may need to take the cable out of the little metal guide loops and run it along side them. That is what i did just for peace of mind

Yeah that's what i ended up doing

good to go now.. much more comfy while sitting down now. Don't have my knees in the handle bars lol

I did this with mine. I have a 3" riser and I'm still having some trouble when I go WOT. I adjusted the cable in almost all the way at the carb rack. Is there any adjustment at the throttle?
