My new to me 94 max has no foam in the air box openings. How much could this affect jetting if at all? What is a good replacement foam? I seem to have a lean spot just after engagement that goes away afterwards. I have yet to make any long pulls with sled to check plugs. Needles 1 slot from the top.
Checked my center to center and offset and they seem OK.

stain, why don,t you go to dealer and get right foam. i needed the one thats on hood and it was still available. now is that your lean spot ? maybe. 3:16 (yammie tony)
I just replaced Air filter foam in the fairing too --- It is defiantly still available.. $45.00 for a piece of foam (Even my dealer was laughing about that one!). Here's the part #--89A-2199J-00-00.
