anyone have any ideas as to why someone would drill and tap holes in the sliding's face? never seen anything like it. holes are directly under where the weights would be pinned, about 1 1/2" down from the outer sheave edge. they are tapped. smaller than a 1/4". fingernail definately catches.

post pictures!!
self proclaimed putertard lacking picture ability along with desire. without disassembling the clutch spider to remove the movable sheave, dont think my phone would give enough field of vision or perception.
