How often do you guys change the primary spring of your heelclicker kit?I've had clickers in my 98 SRX for some years now and the other night when I was out I noticed that the sled didn't feel quite right and wasn't revving out to the 8400 like it always did,of course the conditions were less than optimal but still I'd like to know if you guys have a regular change interval that you stick with to keep the clutching dialed in.

Do you disassemble your clutches for the off-season? As you know already, the amount of tension that spring provides it probably gets soft quick if left assembled. Some replace the primary spring yearly regardless.... if you had yours for a few years, grab a new one ($20-$30) and see if there's an improvement. I have 4 years on mine and still runs good!

I never used to but this past spring I did take the clutches apart,I ordered a new secondary spring and put it in anyway so I figure I`ll pick up a new red primary HC spring and see what happens.

I run them for years, however...... I do remove them at the end of the year so they dont sit compressed being the spring is so long its really loaded just sitting in the clutch, they last a long time if you remove them for the summer.
