Hi, a few weeks ago i bought a 2000 Srx 700 and i love it,a real blast to drive.
I know there is a lot of thread on this snowmobile but haven't found the what i was searching for.
It's about the oïl,what amount of oïl does it goes in the oïl tank? and how many full tank of gas
do i get to fill without adding oïl, juste to have an idea. What is the ratio? 50:1 or 40:1 ?
I read somwhere that the oïl tank is 3.5 quarts? like 3.3 litres i guess
i hate the fact that we can't see by the side of the tank how much oïl is still in

when the oil level gets down to about a liter the oil warning light will kick on.You should check to see if the light works.I siphoned oil out of my tank until the light came on and I know it works.

Just top it up each time you stop for fuel. You can easily fit two 1 litre jugs in the seat storage.
480km easy on a tank..keep a gallon in your car for refill.

ride all day on a oil fill..save room for whiskey and cash in your storage area...
