The air screws are recommended to be set at 2 turns out regardless of a cann or not. That's two 360 degree turns on each carb. Turn them in all the way, not too tight though, and then turn out the 2 turns. Chances are, they're prob already set to that anyway.
I have a new mbrp cann that I decided not to put on my sled. It too didn't seem to fit on 100%. But it was not too bad. If you're concerned about it leaking at the joint, just use some high temp ultra copper around the donut gasket. Hope this helps.

That would be a fuel screw, manual says 1.5 turns out, I've got mine at 1 3/4 out.

For just an aftermarket can you should be able to leave it where it's at, as long as it's set right to begin with.

Thats what I figured when I did this with my srx I had no issues at all i never had to mess with any of the settings on my carbs this one on the other hand any speeds below 20 miles per hr it sounds like the choke is on and it back fires kinda once its moving it runs great good power and all and idles fine i think that having the air box wide open may be affecting it too

The gutted airbox might be an issue, most guys don't like them. I've only heard of a few that haven't had trouble with them gutted. The jetting probably should be bumped up when gutting the airbox. With extra air I would think you should richen it up. But I've never messed with gutting the airbox. Maybe someone else would know more about that.

When the stock can was on it ran fine no issues at all with it being wide open and now just at slow speeds im having the issues 0 to 20 it sounds like the chokes on then clears right up

I run an mbrp race can with vForce reeds and reed spacers. I'm fine on jetting, but I did raise the needles 1/2 clip to be safe and she seems to really like it that way.
