alright boys i got a 98 vmax xt 600 twin, apparently info on tuning these are hard to come by everything just refers to the triples,
i am doing to do some gearing,(1 down on top)
and i would like to do some clutching, it is completely stock besides the mbrp can, I'm up in Canada so I'm not quite sure about sea levels here, but i want it to be a little more fun in the snow and to be able to get the front end up, so hype it up....but anyways i was looking to see if anyone has advice on this..?.....suspension setup....clutching... also which Powermadd throttle extension junction box will work for me because the full cables are for the triples and i have a 6 inch riser with a set of pro taper fatbars.
Let me know! -81srx

Elevation help:
http://www.earthtools.org/
To help get the front end to come up, pick up some quick adjust transfer rods and set for more weight transfer, or set up your stock transfer rods for more weight transfer by moving the spacers around. I'm not sure what the stock rod settings would be for more weight transfer, your owners manual would have the info, or it has been talked about on here as well so a search should find it. If you have good sharp studs in your track that would help too...

alrigth so i figured out my elevation conditions are about 300 to 400m above sea level, but for the stock rods i would put smaller shims on the top... is that correct?

Clutching recommendations. Mine's got stock clutching for now with a .96 tall track and 108 studs and it hooks up pretty well. Granted it is a long track.

Is there any place that still sells clutch kits for the 600 twins in the proaction chassis?
