My Viper cab is filling with snow and it is also getting up and into to airbox, must be coming in the vents. Is there something out there (vent covers) by an aftermarket that could help or ideas as to what other people are using to stop filling their Vipers full of snow? I have checked with the local dealer and online through Royal Distributing and can't seem to find anything for these sleds. I would also like to know if anyone puts anything across the top of the airbox filter (ladies nylons) to help keep the snow out but allow the air in?

I know on my srx there's a piece you can put on, on the inside of the hood to cover up the vents...not sure if the viper has that though

We fitted the intakes with foam plugs. I cut these from 3" blocks of foam. I cut a "pie" formation from the foam block. Obviously larger than the intake . These easily push into the intakes on the hood from underneither.

I used to use duct tape sometimes when I was really sucking snow in on a XC Polaris I had. That sled didn't overheat, but I was trail riding and trying to keep the dust out. I'm not sure if your playing in the deep powder if you'd run into trouble or not. It is chea, quick, and easy to remove when you don't need it anymore though.
