To update my other thread, my black phazer is toast. The shaft that the primary is attached to got so hot that it turned blue. There is aluminum flakes in the right cylinder. So it looks to me that top and bottom are fubar.
Anyhow-
I picked up 2 more phazers. A 1991 long track and another 1990 standard. Both red and white. The 1990 has a motor that turns over but hasn't been run in a few years. The 91 has a rebuilt motor that is seized from storage.
What is the best way to lube up these motors before starting them? I want to take the non seized motor and put it in my old phazer with the fubar motor, and get the 91 long track running. I would like to make 2 snowmobiles out of the 3.
Is there a drain plug on the crankcase? I'd like to fill up the motors with diesel fuel and let them sit for a while before draining them and starting.
